Locs
KieTek manufactures five styles of air cargo container locks that will fit almost every application on an air cargo system, either new or retrofit applications. These heavy-duty locks are designed to restrain containers up to 20,000 lb.
Pin Loc
Utilized as a step and turn lock, the Pin Loc is placed in a drop-in receptacle to position containers in a workstation. It is foot-activated to keep fingers and hands away from pinch points.
Flip Loc
Installed on the edge of workstations and slave pallets where clearance is minimal, the Flip Loc is a lift and lay using one finger to operate.
Cam Loc
This device is placed on lifts and deck edges for the automatic resetting once a container has been pushed onto a ball, caster, or roller system off a dolly. The lock resets after the container moves over the top and restrains the container from falling off. To release a container, the worker simply steps on the top of the lock depressing it until it locks down allowing the container to traverse over the top. After the container is cleared, it automatically resets. NOTE: The locks are designed as restraint, not to be confused with a stop.
Slam Loc
The Slam Loc is a motion-activated lock to restrain containers in workstations. This lock is best suited for containers parked in tight locations where the worker cannot walk between the containers to set a Pin or Flip Loc. The lock is released with a step motion. This lock requires minimal obstruction clearance for workers loading and unloading containers.
Trailer Flip Loc
The Trailer Flip Loc is designed to mount in a floor cutout between cross members. The trailer floor is routed around the edges of the lock flange for a flush fit. The lock is a lift lay lock built with the same design as the dock locks. The material is a high-strength tempered metal to take the impact of containers being moved into place. It is zinc plated to provide rust protection and remains operational without maintenance. In the event a lock is damaged, it can be removed and repaired or replaced with a minimal amount of time.
T-Loc
The T-Loc is designed to fit in the perforated holes of the plank deck. The holes are spaced 1” across each plank and 1½” lengthwise on each plank. This is the best alternative to locate a container or pallet anywhere on a plank deck system and contain it. The 5/16” x 3¼” locking pin protrudes 1¼” through the framework. The pin is hardened metal rounded on the end to ease the insertion in the traction hole. The T-Loc is manufactured 1½” x 2” rectangular tube. It is 6” wide x 7½ long with a 5/16” pin and it is plated in yellow zinc.
