ABOUT US

KIETEK IS MATERIAL HANDLING

ABOUT KIETEK

KieTek International Inc. was established in Nevada in 1992. Today, our corporate office is in Queen Creek, Arizona. While we initially focused almost entirely on ball-transfer systems for air cargo customers, including major airlines and delivery services companies such as Federal Express and UPS, we’ve since diversified. Our client roster now includes aerospace companies, manufacturers and other businesses with factories and warehouses.
We’ve also expanded our product line and the services we offer our customers. Our engineers have developed innovative solutions to meet the needs of virtually any material handling operation
If we don’t offer what you need in a system, we’ll find it elsewhere and integrate that into the design of your system.

In short, we can design, build and even install your material handling equipment. Just let us know what you need to accomplish, and we will gladly work with you to put a system in place that suits your needs, your budget and your expectations.

BOARD MEMBERS

  • Jonathan Carnahan
  • A BRIEF CORPORATE HISTORY

    • 1991 – Dennis and Patricia Brierton and their two sons, Dave and Chris, started the business that would eventually become KieTek, traveling back and forth each week for many months between Sunnyvale, California, and the southern part of the state.
    • 1992 – KieTek International Inc. was officially established, with corporate headquarters in Reno, Nevada.
    • 1996 – Patricia Brierton became President and CEO of KieTek. Also in 1996, the company was granted a patent for its thermoplastic cube ball transfer device, which is 33 percent lighter than steel CBTs and is designed to fit in steel and fiberglass grating.
    • 1997 – The company produced its one-millionth ball transfer and exceeded $4 million in annual sales.
    • 1997– The company developed its trailer folding roller bed conversion system, which incorporates the CRT and makes it possible to have a trailer container-ready in a matter of hours, using just a few hand tools.
    • 1998 – KieTek introduced its innovative bi-directional, injection-molded thermoplastic cube roller transfer. The CRT fixed system cost 80 percent less than standard pneumatic systems in use at the time, and required no maintenance.
    • 2005 – The decision was made to relocate the company to Mesa, Arizona, which proved beneficial not only for economic reasons, but also with regard to vendors and the pool of potential employees. After the move, KieTek began to focus on diversifying its products and services. Christopher Brierton became the Executive VP
    • 2010 – KieTek purchased a 17,000-square-foot building and moved to its current location in Queen Creek, Arizona, where all fabrication is completed in-house.
